L.S. calls the meeting to session at 7.32 pm noting for the record that A.V. and A.D.M are late (and empty-handed) as usual. She notes that K.A. sends his regrets that he could not attend the inaugural meeting. K.A., the only male in the group, informed L.S. that "there's too many v's for the p ratio."

L.S., N.A. and T.B. have generously provided the following assortment of snacks:

Suzie's Spelt Flatbreads (actually provided by A.D.M.)
Black Olive & Meyer Lemon Tapinade

L.S. reads the tasting notes retrieved using Google and pours each member a glass.

A.D.M. "What does 'structure' actually mean?"
L.S. "Good question [googles] 'Structure refers to the tannins, acids, alcohol, the components supporting the body that provide lift and intensity, use phrases like sturdy, strong, smooth, sulphuric, assertive."
A.D.M. "I heard if you describe wine like it's someone's personality you'll never go wrong. I've been doing it for years."
A.V. "This wine is feisty."
T.B. "This wine is heavy-set."
